Privacy Policy

Version 0.1 · July 2026

A note on this document. This policy is written in plain English on purpose, and is currently undergoing final review by an Australian lawyer. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll answer plainly too.

1. Who we are

AidReady sells editable compliance documents built for Australian first aid registered training organisations, at aidready.com.au. Privacy enquiries: admin@aidready.com.au.

2. What we collect

We never collect or store your payment card details. Payment is processed entirely by Stripe; card data never touches AidReady systems.

3. The "we don't keep your data" architecture

Anything you type or upload into the on-site customiser stays in your browser until you choose to save or buy — your logo is not sent to us beforehand. Once the customised-document service opens, generation inputs will be used only to produce your documents and then purged; we keep only a minimal record (order reference, your name and contact email) so you can re-download and receive update notices. We never keep a copy of your completed documents.

4. Other people's information

When you use the customised service you may submit other people's details — for example your CEO, compliance manager or privacy officer. You confirm you're entitled to provide them. We use them only to generate your documents and purge them as above.

5. How we use personal information

6. Disclosure

We disclose personal information only to the services that operate AidReady — our payment processor (Stripe), email platform, and hosting — each bound to confidentiality, and each confirmed not to retain or train on submitted data. We never sell, rent or share your details for anyone else's marketing.

7. Security and storage

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest for anything we hold, even transiently, and we store data in Australia wherever practicable.

8. Access, correction, deletion and complaints

Want to see what we hold, fix it, or have it removed? Email admin@aidready.com.au and it's done — we aim to respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

9. Data breaches

We maintain a notifiable-data-breach response process consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth): contain, assess, remediate, and notify the OAIC and affected people where required.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the current version always lives at this address, with the version and date above.
